NW BOCES is seeking a qualified and experienced Administrator. The successful candidate will possess strong leadership and management skills with a proven track record of success in education with a strong emphasis in special education, administration, or a related field. They will be responsible for inspiring and leading the overall operation of the NW BOCES and ensuring the delivery of a comprehensive educational and behavioral program that effectively meets the unique needs of our special education students. 
The NW BOCES is an educational cooperative founded in 1970. It was established to enable member school districts to collaborate and provide specialized educational services to students.  The current population served are students with severe emotional and behavioral needs who require an intensive treatment program. The NW BOCES is governed by a Board of Directors, comprising one trustee from each of the 18 member districts. NW BOCES oversees student education and therapy programs at the Big Horn Basin Children’s Center. The educational and residential treatment program is accredited by the Wyoming Department of Education through Cognia and licensed by the Department of Family Services as a Residential Treatment Facility. The school provides a comprehensive array of special education programs for students in kindergarten through eighth grade.

Certified K-6/5-8 and/or Special Education Teacher position open at NW BOCES/Big Horn Basin Children's Center in Thermopolis.  Students in K-8.  Join an educational and treatment team providing high-quality instruction and therapy services to youth ages 5-14.  Engage students to promote their social, emotional, and academic development.  Collaborate with team members to provide positive reinforcement within an individualized education plan (IEP).
